Balaka Cultural Complex, Illambazar (Birbhum) 

Priya Entertainments opened another multicomplex named 'Balaka Cultural Complex' at Illambazar in October 2010. This not only adds another feather in the cap of Priya Entertainments but is also its second foray in Birbhum. The complex owned by Illambazar Panchayat Samiti is the only cultural complex in the said district town, enjoying the monopoly.

 

It is positioned picturesquely on the Ajoy River surrounded by tall Sal forests.
 
Illambazaar is surrounded by ethnic Santhal villages and is the pivotal centre connecting Birbhum and Bardhaman. It is also a marketing hub of Birbhum.
 
Balaka has accommodation facilities where people can stay overnight. Balaka also has meeting room facilities which the corporate can book for various conferences and seminars. It also houses a restaurant to cater as per the choice of the mass surviving in the said area. Last but not the least, the auditorium has a seat-capacity of 450 numbers.
